Rescue Dog Day serves as a poignant reminder of the millions of dogs awaiting adoption in shelters globally. According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), approximately 3.3 million dogs enter U.S. animal shelters every year. Sadly, not all of them find forever homes. By dedicating a day to celebrate rescue dogs, we raise awareness about the importance of adoption and encourage more people to consider rescuing a dog in need.
