What if... All admission became "pay what you wish"

Concept: Stop catering the convention. Provide tons of information about local food delivery services. Change admission to "pay what you wish" for all attendees.

This works if I have a relatively inexpensive location that I can afford to eat the cost of. It fails if I'm renting a hotel space. Thoughts?

Love the Catering

IMHO the catering is great; it leaves more time for games! I don't mind the cost.

I would rather pay up-front than worry about carving out time to fetch food, and don't mind knowing that the money takes up slack from some testers who may not pay. Time really flies when swimming through all the prototype goodness.
